THAILAND –  German wood based panels machinery and plant manufacturer Dieffenbacher has significantly expanded its presence in Thailand by enlarging its spare parts warehouse in Bangkok, opened in 2020, with a new office and additional local staff to better support customers in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

“Thailand has always been an important market for us,” said Ralf Schmidt, Head of Global Lifetime Service Wood & Recycling at Dieffenbacher. “By expanding our Lifetime Service offering—including commissioning, modernization, audits, consulting, and spare parts—we aim to be the strongest partner in our customers’ success.”

The expanded team at Dieffenbacher TH Ltd., a subsidiary of Dieffenbacher Asia Pacific SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur, now includes two technologists, two electricians, a mechanic, and an administrative staff member. “Our 28 employees across Southeast Asia give us a solid base for long-term partnerships,” noted Andy Müller, Managing Director of Dieffenbacher Asia Pacific.

“These new investments in Thailand show our long-term commitment. For us, the sale of a plant is just the start—we continue strengthening relationships through ongoing service and modernization. Our enhanced capabilities in Thailand will provide even more value to our partners throughout the lifecycle of their operations,” Müller concluded.
