The two companies are part of the same investment group, which made this decision in order to take advantage of the synergies of the sales teams, as they operate in the same markets. This decision will also generate significant reductions in operating costs that will be reinvested in the company’s growth strategies, including the recent investment in Zofía, the industrial park and free zone in the port city of Barranquilla.

Cubrecol, founded in 2004, is the specialist distributor of surfaces for the board processing industry. The company began operations with the distribution of edges and adhesives and later expanded its portfolio to also include décor surfaces of the Surteco Group.

Tekandina was founded in 2009 as the distributor for Colombia of Germany’s Homag Group. Through a team of highly skilled technical engineers, the company supplies sales, installation and maintenance services for the different brands of the Group. Tekandina also represents Leuco, a German leader in the manufacture of machine tools and a natural ally to complete the offer of spare parts for the furniture industry.
