ITALY – Biesse tops the list of Italian companies in the production of wood machining technology per the ranking prepared by Acimall’s research department and published in the latest edition of Xylon. The ranking was produced according to 2015 data.

The study looked at the top 50 Italian companies by sales revenue and confirmed Biesse Group, with € 519.1 million as the top Italian group in the sector. Based on the data currently available (2015), the Biesse Group’s Top Management stated that such figures are destined to improve because the Group widened the gap with the Italian competitors. SCM Group (€ 513.2 million) and Cefla (€ 437 million) followed Biesse as the top companies in the segment.

In fact in 2016 sales revenues increased to 618 million euros, up more than 19% as compared to 2015 sales revenue, which was itself a record-breaking year.
