ITALY –  Biesse Group, a global leader in machinery for processing wood, glass, stone, and advanced materials, reported first-half 2025 (6M-2025) revenues of EUR 322.8 million, down 18.4% compared to the same period in 2024.

EBITDA fell 51.4% to EUR 16.0 million, with the EBITDA margin dropping to 5.0% from 8.3%.

The company also reported a net loss of EUR 7.1 million, compared to a EUR 3.9 million profit in 6M-2024.

Group CFO Nicola Sautto cited ongoing trade tensions from U.S. tariffs, geopolitical instability, sluggish rollout of Industry 5.0 incentives, and tighter credit access for clients as major challenges.

Despite the downturn, Biesse remains committed to its transformation strategy: strengthening global sales networks, investing in innovation, and rationalizing costs.

Sautto emphasized that the Group’s net financial position remains solid, with no signs of financial strain.
