ITALY – Biesse Group, a multinational leader in technology for processing wood, glass, stone, metal, plastic and composited materials, recently reported  consolidated net sales revenues in the first half of 2021 of EUR 354.1 million.

Which represented a 37.9% increase compared to the same period in 2020.

EBITDA in the first half of 2021 reached EUR 41.0 million an 81.9% increase compared to the same period in 2020.

Net profit reached EUR 28.4 million euros in the first half of 2021, considerably improving the EUR 1.1 million obtained in the same period 2020.

The trend in Group order intake (machines) in the first half of 2021 was positive. There was a significant increase both compared to the same period last year and compared to the first half of 2019.

Global sales distribution in the 1st half 2021 was as follows: Western Europe 49.9% (46.9% in the first half of 2020), Eastern Europe 16.7% (17.1% in the first half of 2020), North America 17.0% (20.0% in the first half of 2020), Asia Pacific 13.4% (13.4% in the first half of 2020) and Rest of World 3.0% (2.7% in the first half of 2020).
