ITALY – Biesse Group, a multinational leader in technology for the processing of wood, glass, stone, metal, plastic and composite materials, reported consolidated sales revenues for the first nine months of the year (9M-2021) of EUR 527 million.

This represents an increase of 32.9 percent compared to the same period in 2020 (9M-2020: EUR 396.4 million). Also an increase of 3.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019 (9M-2019: EUR 511 million).

EBITDA in 9M-2021 reached EUR 61.9 million, up 65.2 percent compared to 9M-2020 (EUR 37.5 million) and 10.5 percent compared to 9M-2019 (EUR 56 million).

Net income reached EUR 35.4 million in 9M-2021, considerably improving on the EUR 3.7 million achieved in the same period of 2020. It also represented an increase of 139.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019 (EUR 14.8 million).

The group’s order intake in 9M-2021 shows an increase of 74% compared to the same period of 2020, while compared to 2019 the increase is 31.6%.

The geographical breakdown of net sales shows Italy increasing to 17.8% (13% in September 2020 and 16.7% in June this year), while with respect to the macro regions Western Europe 50.3% (including Italy), Asia-Oceania 13.1%, Eastern Europe 16.6%, North America 17.3% and Rest of the World 2.8%.
