COLOMBIA - Madecentro, the leading chain of stores specializing in supplies for the furniture, construction and remodeling industry, recently opened a new branch in the municipality of Andes, in southwestern Antioquia, 117 kilometers from Medellín.

With this opening, with an area of 600 m2, Madecentro now operates 220 stores throughout the country The store will offer its traditional services of wooden panel dividing and edgebanding. As welll as other panel processes like drilling and hinging.

With more than 3,000 employees, Madecentro ended fiscal 2023 with sales totaling COP 880 billion (USD 220 million). 

The company anticipates growth of around 5% in 2024. In the current challenging environment, this implies a 10% increase in its exports of furniture hardware and components to the regional market.
