PERÚ - Peruvian home improvement chain Promart has opened its 34th store in San Martín de Porres, north of the capital Lima.
According to the company, this is its largest location to date and required an investment of PEN 120 million (USD 30 million) .
The sales area is 7 200 m², with 1 200 m² for the building material department. It is Promart's first store in Lima with a bioclimatic system.
In order to continue positioning itself in the home improvement category, the chain is preparing new openings for 2023. "This new space is part of our 2022 expansion plan, while by 2023 we expect to open two to three additional stores in Lima, to close with 37 stores nationwide by the end of next year," said Verónica Valdez, General Manager of Promart.
Promart is the home improvement company belonging to the IFH Retail holding of the Interbank group. Created in 2010, it opened its first store in the town of Chorrillos, in the southern cone of Lima, in September 2011.
