CHILE - Sodimac, the home improvement division of Chilean retail group Falabella, reported sales of USD 1.02 billion in the third quarter 2022 (3Q-2022), 11.9 per cent less than in the same period last year.
The largest quarterly decline was in Chile, where sales were down 20.4 per cent to USD 677 million (EUR 655 million). In Colombia, sales grew by 16.4 per cent to USD 332 million (EUR 321 million), while sales in Peru rose by 8.9 per cent to USD 227 million (EUR 219 million).
In Brazil sales were up 9.7 per cent to USD 77 million (EUR 74 million) and in Argentina sales grew 27.9 percent and reached USD 43 million (EUR 42 million)
Sales in Uruguay and Mexico were not informed, and the figures from Colombia are not included in the total sales.
