COLOMBIA – Madecentro, Colombia’s leading store chain specialized in supplies for the furniture and construction industries, opened last week the Laureles, Medellin store completing 170 locations in the country.
Madecentro's goal in 2021 is to reach a total of 185 stores.
The second quarter of the year also saw the inauguration of the organization's Palmira CEDI, which is located one kilometer from Cali's Alfonso Bonilla airport. In addition to having 18,000 square meters of storage area, this CEDI includes a board processing center, Madeservicios, which completes 20,000 square meters of total area.
This is the seventh distribution center (CEDI) of the organization in the country.
With more than 3,000 employees, Madecentro closed 2020 with sales of COP 521 billion and projects double-digit growth in 2021. To this end, it maintains an aggressive export campaign throughout Latin America that Madecentro expects to reach USD 6 million in 2021.
As a curious fact Madecentro includes more than 5,400 product references of furniture hardware in its portfolio.
