BRAZIL - Fimma Brasil - International Fair for Suppliers of the Wood and Furniture Productive Chain - is open for registration for international business rounds that will take place virtually in May.
The initiative hopes to attract 50 importing companies from 15 countries, encouraging Brazilian exports of machinery, inputs and technologies to the furniture industry.
Interest forms are open until April 9 for interested buyers and exhibiting companies of Fimma.
Brazilian manufacturers that do not exhibit at Fimma, but are participants in the Orchestra Brasil project, which coordinates the rounds, can also participate.
Organized by the Furniture Industry Union of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) with support from the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), the Orchestra Brasil Project supports the internationalization of furniture industry suppliers.
The most recent edition of the international business rounds took place in 2019, during Fimma Brasil, and resulted in 1,100 meetings, generating USD 30 million in exports by Brazilian manufacturers in the segment.
