Masisa unifies FSC chain of custody for all its industrial division

CHILE - Masisa Chile successfully completed the unification process of the FSC chain of custody for all of its industrial products division.

With that it managed to expand the scope of the FSC Certification for woods, to the area of board production under one FSC Chain of Custody certificate. This achievement includes the Masisa plants in San Pedro de La Paz (Mapal) and Cabrero, Chile, unifying the chain of custody of sawn wood products and MDF moldings, plus fiber and particle boards.

Jaime Valenzuela, General Manager of Masisa Andina, said "this FSC chain of custody unification confirms our commitment and leadership in generating products that meet the highest world standards." It’s important to point out that Masisa has the FSC certification across its forest holdings since 2003 and FSC chain of custody for its products since 2011.
