COLOMBIA – The consolidation of production of the new MDF mill, the start up of the new laminating line in mid-September 2013, and the notorious improvement of exports, have allowed Tablemac to close 2013 on a high note.

In the last quarter of the 2013 sales of the company reaches COP 52.935 million, an increase of 36.1% compared with COP 38.905 million in the fourth quarter of 2012.  Additionally throughout the year the internal market of wood panels and furniture had strong dynamics, especially marked by the growth of the construction sector and an improvement of the purchasing power of households due to low inflation and increased employment. Furthermore, exports by Tablemac reached COP 23.687 million, 98.7% higher than in 2012. In all, sales for the year closed at COP 188.971 million, up 41.9% from COP 133.173 million in 2012.
