PERU – Sodimac, the home improvement and construction solutions chain, has announced the opening of a newly converted store.
According to Perú Retail, Falabella Group will be restructuring its home improvement segment by transforming existing Maestro stores in Peru into Sodimac locations.
This new opening is part of their ambitious expansion plan, bringing the total number of Sodimac stores in the country to 33, while Maestro stores will be reduced to 23.
The latest conversion took place at the Plaza Norte shopping center in the Independencia district, where the Maestro store had been since the mall’s opening in 2009.
The new Sodimac store at Plaza Norte, Spanning over 8,000 square meters, will provide residents of Independencia and nearby areas with a wide range of high-quality products and services, supported by the brand’s warranty. It aims to be a go-to destination for those seeking quality, variety, and expert advice in one place.
