MEXICO – The Chilean home improvement chain Sodimac has significantly bolstered its presence in Mexico with the inauguration of its 14th store in Monterrey, encompassing an expansive sales area spanning 8,400 square meters.
This latest addition strategically complements the two existing stores in the city, aligning seamlessly with Sodimac’s ambitious North American expansion strategy detailed in 2023.
Sodimac, part of the Chilean retailer Falabella, has actively operated in Mexico since 2018 and continues to advance its market penetration. The forthcoming opening of another store in Guadalajara later this year underscores Sodimac’s dedication to solidifying its stature as a premier retailer of construction materials and home improvement products throughout the region.
This strategic expansion not only enhances Sodimac’s market position but also contributes significantly to local economies in the regions where it operates, reflecting the company’s broader growth initiatives across Latin America, where it currently oversees a network of more than 260 retail outlets.
