ECUADOR – Promart Homecenter, the leading Peruvian home improvement chain, has opened its second store in Ecuador, located in Quito.
Inaugurated on December 11, 2024, this new location strengthens the brand’s presence in Ecuador, following its first store opening in Guayaquil last year.
The Quito store spans 7,500 square meters and offers products across 17 categories, including gardening, outdoor furniture, construction tools, hardware, lighting, and technology. Notably, the store features high shelving, allowing for a wide range of inventory within reach of customers.
“Ensuring product availability is a top priority for us,” said Jorge Sans, General Manager of Promart Homecenter Ecuador. The store also includes a paint center, specialized advice for construction professionals, and a corporate sales section for large projects.
With an investment of USD 32 million, this new store is part of Promart’s expansion plans, with two more stores slated to open in Quito by the end of 2025. Each new location is expected to create around 130 direct and indirect jobs.
Promart remains committed to the Ecuadorian market, offering diverse, high-quality solutions for both consumers and construction professionals.
Promart Homecenter, part of the Intercorp Retail business group, has more than 13 years in the Peruvian market, 38 stores in this territory and employs more than 5,000 people.
