PERU – Global wood panel manufacturer Kronospan and Peruvian distributor Grupo Jocema have announced a strategic alliance, making Jocema the exclusive distributor of Kronospan products in Peru since January this year.

The announcement was made at Universidad ESAN last April, during an event led by journalist Fernando Llanos and attended by Leandro Garavano, Sales Agent for Latin America & the Caribbean at Kronospan, and Wilmer Mozo, General Manager of Grupo Jocema.

“Our goal is not just to bring high-quality European products, but to elevate the industry by meeting local needs and raising market standards,” said Mozo.

The first phase of the partnership includes over USD 10 million investment in a new logistics hub in Lurín that will open in August 2025, EDGE certification, and technical sales training aligned with European standards.

With industrial operations in 40 countries, Kronospan aims to support a more modern and sustainable ecosystem for Peru’s interior design and wood-based construction sectors.
