DENMARK – Global furniture retail giant Jysk closed the 2024/25 financial year with record results, driven by strong promotional activity and competitive pricing. Revenue rose 11.8% to nearly EUR 6.2 billion, while EBIT increased nearly 27% to about EUR 748 million.
The company also added more than 13.7 million new customers worldwide.
Despite geopolitical and economic headwinds, Jysk achieved the best results in its history. CEO Rami Jensen highlighted that demand for value-for-money products remains high in uncertain times and credited the company’s 34,000 employees for their commitment and service focus.
Jysk marked major progress in global expansion, entering two new continents with store openings in Morocco and Uruguay, both reportedly well received. The retailer added 148 new stores, bringing its total to 3,575 across 50 countries, including 225 franchises.
The company also strengthened its sustainability efforts, reducing per-store emissions by 9% since 2022. Jysk aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50.4% by 2032, in line with Science Based Targets.
At the start of the new fiscal year, Jysk launched its global strategy “Customers’ First Choice”, focused on improving customer experience, expanding the European store network, and investing in modern IT and service platforms.
