COLOMBIA – Ikea recently opened its second Colombian store, reinforcing its commitment to the country and bringing affordable designs to Cali, Valle del Cauca.
Alejandro Arze, Falabella’s Corporate General Manager, sees this as a growth opportunity, aiming to enhance Cali homes. December’s e-commerce expansion in Valle del Cauca was a precursor to the physical store.
With 6,000 products emphasizing design and sustainability, Ikea aims to improve the shopping experience for Cali residents. The opening creates 270 jobs, contributing to local economy.
The store, situated in Mallplaza Cali, offers accessibility and inspiration across its 15,500 square meters. It features fully furnished exhibition spaces, and a dedicated children’s area.
The restaurant serves Swedish and local cuisine, providing a unique experience for visitors.
