COLOMBIA – Having completed its first five years in operations, Boards & Ideas decided to take advantage of the wide acceptance of its business model to expand its portfolio of products and services.
The Company, recognized in the Colombian market as the exclusive representative of high-end Kaindl boards – and therefore a pioneer in the supply of melamine panels with synchronized pore in the country – is also recognized for its board processing services, offered in its workshop equipped with the latest German technology provided by the Homag Group.
For its founder and Commercial Manager Johanna Vega, B & I’s success lies in the excellence of the products it markets, in the superior quality of the processing technology it offers and, more importantly, in the excellence of the team of collaborators who are part of the company. “We differentiate ourselves by offering the client – whether architect, designer or carpenter – boards that set trends and the access to the best in technology to transform their ideas into parts and pieces,” Johanna Vega said while interviewed by Notifix. “We are already evaluating our next investments in technology and we have expanded the portfolio to include premium collections from other board producers, such as Colombian manufacturer Tablemac and also including edgeband collections from the leading German manufacturer Rehau.”
This new focus as a multi-brand representative has also led to a redesign of the company’s image, particularly the logo, redefined to represent the future of the company and accompanied by the slogan ‘A step forward’.
