This year, Rehau's sustainable edgeband line, including Raukantex evo and eco, received double recognition from a prestigious jury of interdisciplinary experts.

Awarded in the "Excellence in Business to Business: Material & Surfaces" category, this accolade reinforces Rehau's commitment to a comprehensive sustainability approach, as emphasized by Daniel Elfe-Degel, Sustainability Officer for the Interior Solutions Division. Their goal remains steadfast: to expand the use of non-fossil-based materials and decrease CO2 emissions.

Raukantex eco integrates 50% post-industrial recyclates into its base material, while Raukantex evo utilizes polymers derived from non-fossil sources, eliminating the need for additional crude oil.

Notably, Raukantex evo is the inaugural Rehau edgeband to obtain ISCC-PLUS certification, highlighting the company's dedication to environmentally responsible practices.
