GERMANY - With preliminary total sales of over 900 million euros for the 2023 financial year, the Schattdecor Group is slightly below its previous year's sales.

At around 1.4 billion square meters in printing and 725 million square meters in finished surfaces, the Group's output remains at the previous year's level.

According to CEO Roland Auer, the industry is still in a phase of uncertainty: “2023 was characterized by clear contrasts, a year of constant ups and downs.” A rapid and sustainable recovery is still not in sight. “All the more reason for us to continue full of energy and passion,” says Auer. “With contemporary new products, partnerships and a global network, we are continuing to pave our way through these difficult times.”

For the current financial year, the company is investing 40 million euros in the expansion of production capacities and technologies, as well as the maintenance and expansion of the international infrastructure. These projects are in response to market and customer requirements. Auer: “It remains the order of the day to constantly focus our best efforts on efficient, innovative technologies and processes as well as a modern, contemporary product range.”
