GERMANY - Antonio Cardona has been appointed as the new Head of the Edgeband business unit at Surteco Group, effective January 1, 2024, succeeding Fredy Hiltmann.

Cardona, a 50-year-old Portuguese with an economics degree and an MBA, currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Proadec Group. He brings extensive international experience to the role, having managed large projects and operational activities across Europe, Asia, and North America.

Wolfgang Moyses, CEO of Surteco, expressed confidence in Cardona's customer-focused leadership and industrial expertise. Fredy Hiltmann, the outgoing head, conveyed satisfaction with his time at Surteco and wished Cardona and the team a promising future.
