Blum chooses digital participation in interzum

AUSTRIA -  Blum, a global leader in the production of furniture hardware, will only have a digital presence at this year's interzum, as part of “interzum@home” and not with an exhibition stand as in the past.

Instead, Blum wants to show the hardware innovations in different interactive formats, the company announced recently.

“Due to the current framework conditions, we decided to take this route. We are happy that Kölnmesse offers digital opportunities. This is how we protect the health of our customers and our employees and react to the restricted travel options,” says André Dorner, Managing Director of Blum Germany, explaining the decision.

The interzum is the world's leading trade fair for suppliers to the furniture industry and the company continues to describe it as the fixed point for Blum to present its innovations to the world. According to its own statements, Blum is currently developing new opportunities to exchange ideas personally with customers and partners in international markets this year. “Direct conversation is very important to us. That is why we supplement the digital offer with personal dialogue and the physical experience of our innovations on site,” explains Philipp Blum, Managing Director of the Blum Group, and adds: “We want to inspire our customers with our presence even in this unusual time.” With a view Looking to the future, he adds: “At the same time, we are looking forward to interzum 2023 in Cologne.”
