JAPAN - Leuco Japan celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020.

From the very beginning the business has been driven by selling new tools and services directly to their customers, which was unique in the Japanese corporate environment.

Many new customers were visited and new sales areas were opened. Leuco also asked its customers to only pay in cash, which was very rare in Japan at the time.

In the beginning the market environment of Leuco Japan was very positive with a GDP growth of 2-3% with many business opportunities.

The market environment in wood processing in Japan is more challenging today than in the early years of Leuco Japan. Nevertheless, the company is positive and concentrates on its business without fear of the changes and strongly supports the manufacturing industry in Japan.

Leuco is one of the world’s largest suppliers of carbide and diamond-tipped machine tools for wood and plastic processing. Internationally, around 1,200 employees work for Leuco.
