GERMANY - The Schattdecor Group facilities, Vasatech and US Coating, will officially bear the company name Schattdecor starting January 1, 2021.
Until now, the acquisitions from 2019 included the addition "Member of Schattdecor-Group". Vasatech will undergo a change of name in the future. US Coating in Lexington, SC will merge with the Schattdecor site in Maryland Heights, MO. The companies will merge to form Schattdecor Inc.
Vasatech, based in Malaysia, specializes in the production of melamine resin impregnated decorative films for the wood panel lamination industry. Established in the year 2000, Vasatech has since grown from a single line producer to a double line producer, supplying to industrial customers in more than 20 countries globally.
US Coating Company, founded in 1994, is located in central South Carolina and provides decorative surfaces in manufacturing eco-friendly solid color Electron Beam (EB) cured coatings on various paper substrates. This includes a wide variety of finish foils in many solid colors and different finishes.
In addition to its headquarters in Germany, Schattdecor has locations in Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, China, Brazil, Turkey, Malaysia and the United States. Through the hard work of their highly qualified employees, it generates annual sales of around 750 million euros.
