GERMANY - With effect from September 2019, the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor AG will appoint two additional members to the executive team: Claudia Küchen, who has worked for the international surface specialist since 1999, most recently as the Executive Creative Director of Design, Marketing, and Communications for the Schattdecor Group, and Frank Schumacher, who until 2018 was the long-serving CEO of the Interprint-Group and is an experienced industry expert.

Frank Schumacher brings expertise and a deep understanding of the industry, thanks to his long-term experience in the sector. Both of them will therefore make an ideal addition to our executive team, from both a professional and human perspective.”

Frank Schumacher will be responsible for Sales and Strategic Purchasing while also contributing his experience to the long-term development of the company. Claudia Küchen will lead the newly created Board for Design, Marketing, Communications, and Decor Development. From September 2019, therefore there will be six members of the executive team.

Schattdecor founded in 1985 is headquartered in Germany, with locations in Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, China, Brazil, Turkey, Malaysia and the United States. In total the company operates 18 decor production locations and last reported annual sales reached around 750 million euros. The company produces printed, impregnated and finished surfaces for the woodworking and furniture industries using either rotogravure or digital printing.
