BRAZIL - The German multinational Schattdecor debuts at High Design - Home & Office Expo, one of the largest design fairs in Brazil, with unprecedented designs for architects and interior designers.

The event in its third edition will be held at São Paulo Expo between August 28 and 30 and will bring together exhibitors from the high-end furniture sector and solutions suppliers for architecture and interior design.

Among the innovations presented by the sector, digital printing of decorative paper is one of the emphases of the event. The German multinational Schattdecor focuses on the potential of this technology that, in conjunction with the panel industry, allows the development and application of custom designs, large-scale designs and unparalleled compositions.

According to Sandra Mohr, commercial executive manager of Schattdecor of Brazil, this technology allows the creation of a new generation of decoration projects. "Digital printing provides flexibility and innovation to a sector, the printing of decorative papers by gravure, in which we act with great expertise and quality for more than 30 years. With this mode of printing, available to the industry and professionals such as architects and designers, the creation of designs for panels, furniture and other applications, gains endless possibilities,” she says.

The advantage, for those in need of a unique or customized design, is the possibility of mixing materials in a single plate. “It is possible, for example, to combine wooden countertops in the same décor with selected cuts of marble,” explains Sandra. This technology also allows the creation of decors in dimensions that reach 5 x 2.25 meters, without repetitions. The digital process has the same quality and guarantee as the other Schattdecor products, since it uses the same raw materials.
