Interprint Design Week a key player of the Milano Design Week 2018

BRAZIL / ITALY - Interprint innovates once again by launching a new trend-oriented event concept this year: Interprint Design Week, which debuted in Brazil at the end of February.

780INTERPRINTThe first Interprint Design Week was held in the modern factory of the company located in Paraná, in the Curitiba region, receiving a select public of clients, partners and influencers. According to Helena Capaz, sales and marketing manager of Interprint of Brazil, more than 100 guests, from approximately 25 companies and 5 countries from all over Latin America, attended the Brazilian event.

After the realization in Brazil, the Design Week left for its world tour, being promoted in the other units of the multinational, in countries such as Poland, Russia and China. Lourdes Manzanares, commercial and marketing director of Interprint of Brazil, explained how the Design Week project was born in the Brazilian unit. “The group considered the format so relevant and innovative that it decided to extend it globally.” And added, “Interprint is a brand recognized worldwide as a reference in design. We thought as such, to conceive a complete event for our clients in this area, which gained worldwide relevance."

To make the exclusive presentations of the Design Week, Interprint brought to Brazil Italian designer Maurizio Burrato, from the brand’s global design team, who was present at the event, on April 18 and 19 at La Terrazza di Via Palestro, Brera, during the Milan Design Week.

The event held in Brazil shortly before the Milan Design Week also marked the official launch for Latin America of the prestigious Interprint Six Pack 2018, the expected key standards for the year that condense into six patterns the main trends in décors for the year. And it also brought a preview of what was highlighted in colors, coatings, textures, materials and concepts among the exhibitors of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile this April. A workshop with Brazilian woods that could be incorporated into future Interprint collections, in global terms also took place. "What we offered here at Interprint Design Week, for the Latin American public, is certainly much more than inspiration, but an idea of what would be a trend in Milan, in color, texture and materials," emphasizes Maurizio Burrato.
