GERMANY –In FY 2016 Häfele generated sales of 1.311 million euros, representing a growth of 3.1% compared to the 1.271 million euros it obtained in 2015.
“Excluding currency fluctuations, the increase would reach even 6,1%: a very satisfactory success, taking into account the global situation in 2016”, says Sibylle Thierer, chairman of the board.
The 37 foreign branches (+ 3.2%), as well as the parent company and the six producing companies in Germany and Hungary (+ 3%) participated in this growth in sales volume. The performance has been positive in practically all Häfele operations markets, which have increased their sales volume to a greater or lesser extent. In India and the United States, there has been a strong expansion, while in Asian markets, as in previous years, growth rates have exceeded all expectations.
