GERMANY - Hafele Group continued to grow in 2013 as the company group achieved revenue of 1.072 billion Euros.

This represents growth of 4% compared to 2012. However the financial, report revealed some major differences in the different market regions. The Asian and Eastern European markets experienced above-average growth again in 2013, as they did in previous years. Particularly the newer foreign subsidiaries in Kazakhstan, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic and the Ukraine gained a better foothold on the market.

Häfele is entering the new year with optimism, and also envisages good opportunities for international growth in 2014. Among other things, this confidence (a medium single-digit increase in revenue is anticipated) is based on the indications of cautious economic recovery in several European countries. This year the furniture hardware manufacturer expects to invest about 35 million Euros in manufacturing systems and services.
