GERMANY (Notifix).- SURTECO SE – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of surface materials – came close to matching year-earlier sales during the business year 2012 despite difficult framework conditions.

Consolidated sales at 407.7 million euros were slightly below the value for 2011 (408.8 million euros). The operating result (EBITDA) at 51.7 million euros was below the equivalent year-earlier amount of 56.1 million euros. The absence of exceptional charges meant that the consolidated net profit after tax could be increased by one fifth to 15.0 million euros.
