GERMANY (Notifix).- Two dates essentially define the Hettich Group's history: 1888, the year in which the parent company was established in the Black Forest, and 1930, the founding year of the sister company in Herford.

To celebrate the 125th anniversary, the family owned company, led by the fourth Hettich generation, will be donating €125.000 to welfare projects supported by members of staff.

Hettich is rooted in Karl Hettich’s, its founder, development in 1888 of mechanisms for pendulum clocks and the later development in 1928 of a 16-metre long production line for piano hinges by his son August Hettich, setting the course for today's Technology for Furniture Division.
