GERMANY (Notifix).- The Hettich Group, with headquarters in Kirchlengern, generated a turnover of 773 million Euros in 2010. This represents a 10 percent increase in sales in comparison to the previous year (2009: 703 million Euros). The CEO and Managing Partner, Dr. Andreas Hettich, announced that following the slump of the previous year, the level of 2008 could once again be reached. The foreign share increased slightly from 66 percent to 67 percent. The number of staff employed worldwide sank to 5,500 employees (2009: 5,800) due to the sale of the Brazilian subsidiary. Of these, more than 3,000 were employed in Germany. The Hettich Group further expanded its worldwide presence in 2010: in Mexico and Turkey with new subsidiaries, in Bulgaria and Romania with new sales offices, and in the USA, India and Russia with new sites.
