ITALY – The Scrigno Group has strengthened its position in the architectural and interior design sector with the acquisition of two strategic Italian manufacturers: Ecomet, a leader in thermo-acoustic wall systems and security closures, and FBP Porte, renowned for its high-end custom-made interior doors.
These acquisitions mark a major step in Scrigno’s growth and diversification strategy, expanding its portfolio to meet architectural needs from building envelopes to interior finishes.
Ecomet, founded in 1982 and based in Marsciano (Perugia), stands as a national benchmark in sustainable building systems. With a 30,000 m² production facility, the company combines technical excellence, eco-friendly materials, and Industry 4.0 technologies to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient, and acoustically optimized products.
FBP Porte brings expertise in tailor-made, premium interior doors characterized by refined aesthetics, craftsmanship, and high customization. The integration enhances Scrigno’s position in the luxury interior design segment and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive, design-driven solutions.
“These acquisitions represent a strategic opportunity for us,” said Fabrizio Campanella, CEO of Scrigno Group. “With Ecomet, we enter a complementary, high-potential sector such as thermo-acoustic wall systems, while FBP Porte enriches our portfolio with top-tier products reflecting Italian excellence. Both companies share our long-term vision, product focus, and commitment to innovation.”
With six divisions now covering interior doors, reinforced doors, architectural staircases, frames, joints, and thermo-acoustic systems, Scrigno consolidates its status as an integrated partner for modern architecture — combining technology, sustainability, and design.
