POLAND – Schattdecor has inaugurated its new PMDL55 printing and coating machine in Tarnowo Podgórne, Poland, reinforcing its position as a global leader in finish foil production.
Installed alongside the PML12, which has been operational since 2023, the facility now houses the most advanced machinery for finish foils worldwide.
The PMDL55 and PML12 support innovative ESH lacquering, using formaldehyde-free, radiation-curing lacquers. With four printing machines and three coating units, Schattdecor Poland enhances its efficiency, product quality, and competitiveness. The company specializes in finish foils produced on both paper and thermoplastic substrates.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by members of the Supervisory Board, the Management Board, and the Schatt family. These investments mark a strategic move in a highly competitive market.
Sustainability has been central to Schattdecor since its founding in 1985. The company has consistently used environmentally friendly, high-tech materials such as water, casein, and organic pigments. It continues to pursue new ways to reduce resource use and environmental impact, while also addressing social and economic responsibilities. With ambitious goals and a company-wide sustainability concept, Schattdecor aims to create long-term value alongside its partners.
The company’s decorative and technical surfaces are used globally in furniture, flooring, and interior applications. Beyond surface production, Schattdecor provides a comprehensive package—from concept to delivery—together with partners for edgebanding, embossed sheets, and vacuum-pressing foils.
