GERMANY – The Spanish specialist in adhesives RAYT presented its solutions for the furniture industry at the latest Ligna in Hannover. Within Rayt’s offer, the thermo fusible adhesives for “zero-joint” edges stand out.

836RAYT Novopur RAYT solutions allows to choose between three different technologies: EVA, polyolefin or reactive polyurethane, even in the use of adhesives by the pre-bonded edge method subsequently reactivated by direct heat, forced air or laser.

For surfaces lamination, RAYT also presented adhesives in aqueous dispersion (free of formaldehyde) for all types of lamination materials: paper sheets, CPL laminates, HPL or even plastic sheets. And HMPUR hot melt adhesives for lamination in automatic machines with acrylic sheets, including high gloss and super matte or similar.

This range is complemented with new Hot-Melt Polyolefin adhesives, which represent an intermediate solution between traditional hot melt adhesives and reagents, offering good resistance to high temperatures, necessary for manufacturers who export their production to warm countries or via maritime.

Laboratorios RAYT is a family business founded in 1955 with three production plants around Barcelona where glues, adhesives and other chemical products are produced. Its products are aimed at three sectors: industrial clients, professionals from many sectors and the general public, through wholesale and retail distribution channels. The next fair participation of RAYT will be in March 2020 during Fimma-Maderalia in Valencia, Spain.
