GERMANY – With the ceremonial inauguration of its new building complex at Leitzstraße 1, the Brucklacher Group has taken a significant step in its strategic growth path.
The modern facility now serves as the headquarters for its three sister companies – Leitz, Boehlerit, and Bilz – and central functions of global market leader Leitz, symbolizing the union of tradition and innovation in the company’s 150-year history. The investment at the Oberkochen site amounts to a double-digit million figure.
Part of the Group’s Sustainable Growth Strategy 2026, the new construction and full renovation underscore its long-term commitment to Oberkochen. Spanning approximately 4,400 square meters, the complex combines modern architecture with functional layouts, cutting-edge technology, and future-ready workspaces.
The site integrates the three companies more closely, fostering synergies, streamlining processes, and accelerating joint development, particularly in research and innovation. It also houses Leitz’s global logistics, international IT operations, and worldwide media center – positioning Oberkochen as a hub for tool technologies and digital solutions.
Developed in close cooperation with regional firms, the project highlights the Group’s dedication to its roots while contributing to the local economy. “With this building, we are building a bridge from the past through the present into the future,” said Dr. Cornelia Brucklacher, shareholder and fifth-generation family representative, during the symbolic key handover to the management teams of the three sister companies.
