GERMANY –  On June 25, 2025, Schattdecor SE will see a change in its Supervisory Board as Reiner Schulz, Chairman, and Bruno Walt, member since 2013, step down after years of dedicated service.

Schulz, a key figure since the company’s founding in 1985, helped drive its global expansion, serving as CEO (2007–2017) and Chairman thereafter.

Company founder Walter Schatt praised Schulz for his “vision, clarity, and humanity,” highlighting his role in shaping Schattdecor’s global success. Walt was also recognized for his financial expertise and strategic insight over his 12-year tenure.

They will be succeeded by Dr. Karsten Schween as Chairman and Angelique Renkhoff-Mücke as Supervisory Board member. Schween brings extensive experience in family business governance, while Renkhoff-Mücke, CEO of WAREMA Renkhoff SE, offers valuable operational leadership and entrepreneurial perspective.

The founding family will remain on the board, with Anja Schatt-Steiner and Sonja Schatt-Fritsch continuing as Deputy Chairwomen. Both the Supervisory and Management Boards expressed gratitude to Schulz and Walt and welcomed the new members as Schattdecor looks toward the future.
