Kesseböhmer Named Top 100 Innovator in Germany

GERMANY –  The Kesseböhmer Group, a global leader in innovative hardware and furniture solutions, has been awarded the prestigious “Top 100” seal, recognizing it as one of Germany’s most innovative medium-sized enterprises in category C (more than 200 employees).

The award ceremony took place at the German SME Summit in Mainz in late June, where science journalist and mentor of the competition Ranga Yogeshwar personally congratulated the winners.

According to the scientific evaluation by Compamedia, Kesseböhmer stood out particularly in the category of “Innovation Promotion by Top Management.” Under the third-generation leadership of Oliver Kesseböhmer, the family-owned company has built its success on continuous innovation and international expansion.

With over 300 registered patents, the company drives innovation in sectors such as kitchen technology, furniture hardware, shopfitting, and industrial applications. Notable products include the revolutionary Le Mans corner cabinet, as well as advanced shopfitting systems for flexible product display.

“Our innovative strength is the key to our success—in kitchens, shopfitting, office furniture, and industrial components. Thanks to close collaboration between management and technical teams, we implement ideas quickly and adapt to customer needs with high production depth,” said Oliver Kesseböhmer. The group reinvests over 4% of its annual revenue in R&D.

With 21 global locations, Kesseböhmer ensures quality and innovation by performing all critical production steps in-house. Its solutions support a wide range of sectors, including kitchen and home furniture, retail, office systems, and industry.

The “Top 100” award, initiated in 1993 and led by Prof. Nikolaus Franke of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, honors outstanding innovation in Germany’s SME sector. Strategic partners include the Fraunhofer Society and the

German Association of SMEs (BVMW).
