SPAIN – Following the volatility of the price of zinc, Indaux reinvents its spiral cam-connecting fitting by offering it now in steel.
The raw material of Indaux’s patented cam-connecting fitting was zamak, an alloy of zinc with aluminum, magnesium and copper. By replacing it with steel, Indaux achieved a final product with the same technical characteristics, but with a more stable cost.
In addition, this model is encapsulated in a plastic housing that replaces the cover cap, which means additional savings.
The spiral cam-connecting fitting is a product patented by Indaux that has gained widespread acceptance throughout its commercial life. It is an assembly system for panels that consists of two faces linked with a spiral, which allows to absorb the tolerances in the machining of furniture and to withstand the vibrations that occur, for example, in transport.
Indaux, the Spanish leader in the sector of fittings and accessories for the furniture industry has become a reference brand internationally, present in more than 70 countries with more than 2000 customers worldwide.
