China’s Aofan signs agreement with Välinge for the use of Threespine technology

CHINA – By signing the license agreement with Välinge, Aofan will now start to produce furniture featuring Threespine®. Aofan decided to implement the technology due to its suitability for high-speed production of multiple furniture parts.

798THREESPINE1 Threespine® click furniture technology enables furniture assembly in seconds without using any tools, screws, fasteners or other loose parts.

Since its foundation in 2014, the Chinese producer Aofan has established a network of more than 200 furniture franchise stores across China as well as its own brand for Nordic style furniture: E-JEYIK. The company’s furniture range is mainly made of solid wood such as oak, poplar, ash and other more exotic wood species.

“Threespine® has been industrialized for high-speed production and the technology can be implemented in various furniture parts. Feed-through processing is a perfect match for our high-volume production lines and the easy and fast assembly/dismantling features make it very convenient,” says Mr. Xiao Yuehua, Chairman of Jiangsu Aofan Furniture Co., Ltd.

Jiangsu Aofan Furniture Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Xiao in 2014. In 2017, KUKA Furniture Stock Corporation Ltd. acquired a substantial part of Aofan and thereby started a strategic cooperation between the companies.
