AUSTRIA –  The Blum Group , one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fittings for high-quality kitchens and furniture, closed its 2024/2025 fiscal year with EUR 2,441.48 million in sales, marking a 6.3% growth after two years of slight declines.

According to Managing Director Philipp Blum, the turnaround was driven by increased sales volumes across all product lines — including hinges, runners, box, lift systems, and the new Revego pocket system — and the first-time consolidation of Belgian subsidiary Van Hoecke.

“Our international network of 34 subsidiaries remains a key success factor, helping us balance diverse market developments,” added Managing Director Martin Blum. While growth was strong in the US, Eastern Europe, and Asia Pacific, markets like China remain challenging. Europe accounted for 45% of total sales, the US for 15%, and the rest of the world for 40%, with the US staying Blum’s largest single market.

Innovation continues to be a strategic priority for Blum, with 61 patents filed in 2024 and new products like Plicobox and expanded hinge lines showcased at Interzum 2025. The company invested EUR 185 million this year, focusing on expanding production in Vorarlberg, Austria, and opening new showrooms in key global locations, including Singapore and London.

As of June 30, 2025, Blum employs 9,846 people worldwide and remains committed to training, with over 400 apprentices in Austria, the US, Poland, and China. Despite global challenges and rising costs, the company looks ahead with cautious optimism, emphasizing innovation, flexibility, and close customer relations as pillars for long-term success.
