VIETNAM - In July 2023, Toppan Holdings Inc. and Joyful Co., Ltd., a Vietnamese decorative surfacing materials printer, formalized a capital and business alliance agreement to boost the global development of the decorative surfacing materials business.

Following approval from Vietnamese authorities in October, the two companies are initiating comprehensive collaboration, including sales and marketing activities, starting in November. Toppan Group brings strengths in design development, technological capabilities, and a global platform within the decorative surfacing materials field.

Joyful excels in decorative paper and film production in Vietnam, coupled with a robust business network in the ASEAN región (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam).

Under the business alliance agreement, both companies will synergize their strengths and expertise to elevate the quality and value of their products. They aim to further expand their existing licensed production business for decorative papers and films.

Toppan Holdings plans to extend its reach through its Environmental Design division, along with Toppan Interamerica, Toppan Europe, and Interprint, all of which are group companies.
