ECUADOR -  Ecuadorian Particleboard (PB/MDP) exports continued to grow at a strong rate in November 2021 reaching USD 18.19 million compared to USD 13.61 million in November 2020 and USD 10.87 million in November 2019 that represented increases of 33.6 per cent and 67.4 per cent respectively.

PB/MDP exports to Colombia, its main external market, reached USD 10.05 million in November 2021 which compares to USD 7.39 million in the same month 2020 an increase of 36 percent.

Exports to Perú, its second external market were up 42.7 per cent in November 2021 reaching USD 6.80 million.

Consolidated PB/MDP exports in the first 11 months of the year reached USD 179.73 million and were up 57.4 per cent compared to USD 114.21 reached in the same period 2020.

Consolidated exports in the January - November 2021 period to Colombia and Peru, its most important export markets, reached USD 95.33 million and USD 62.51 million respectively and represented important increases of 48.8 per cent and 51.1 per cent.
