COSTA RICA - Located in La Valencia de Heredia, Costa Rica, Wood-Mizer Central America will serve clients in Costa Rica and Panama, while authorized distributors will continue to serve clients in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.

The new location further expands the presence of Wood-Mizer in the global market that includes branches on five continents and more than 100 authorized distributors worldwide.

Wood-Mizer has maintained a strong presence in Central America for decades through its network of authorized distributors, and its continued development in the region has allowed the company to establish this new corporate-owned branch in Central America. The new branch is part of Wood-Mizer’s ongoing effort to increase the availability of its world-leading wood processing equipment and global customer support.

Wood-Mizer Central America is already operating and includes a variety of sawmills, saws and sharpening equipment available for demonstration and purchase. An open door event for the new location is tentatively scheduled for March / April 2019.
