Success at Colombia’s renovated Furniture and Wood Fair
COLOMBIA – Surrounded by an atmosphere of renovation, the 14th edition of the Furniture and Wood Fair of Bogotá (Feria M&M) ended successfully on Friday March 9.
Under new ownership – an alliance between Colombian International Business and Exhibition Center (Corferias) and Germany’s Koelnmesse, took place Feria M&M, the leading trade fair for the wood and woodworking industry in Colombia, Central America and the Andean Region.
The organizers’ proven expertize was evident with the participation of guest countries grouped in pavilions - among them Turkey, Germany and Brazil –the use of a new overhead signage system and more so in the very positive final numbers.
From 6 to 9 March 2018, 192 exhibitors from 16 countries presented numerous new products, industry trends and innovations to 13,437 trade visitors on an exhibition space covering 15,000 m2. Doubling the international participation up to 92 exhibitors, which shows that the new partnership offers an interesting trade and communication platform for companies from abroad.

The next Feria Mueble & Madera, inspired by interzum, is scheduled to take place in Bogotá from 26 to 29 May 2020. “With the changed schedule from March to May, Koelnmesse and Corferias are reacting to the feedback of the industry. The new date fits in ideally with their production and sales cycles.
At the same time Feria Mueble & Madera will be held in alternation with the global leading fair interzum and offers global operating companies ideal opportunities to be represented at the most important industry platforms worldwide in different regions,” the organizers explained in a joint statement to the press.
