COLOMBIA - With a continuous growth record throughout its previous 12 editions, the M&M trade fair for suppliers to the wood and furniture industry opens its doors full of expectations this Wednesday March 9 in the grounds of Corferias in Bogota. 

From a regional perspective Feria M&M has become the most relevant woodworking and furniture suppliers tradeshow. The more than 14.000 visitors from more than 10 Central and South American countries, will have the opportunity to witness the latest innovations from more than 170 leading global industry suppliers for machine technology, wood and services among others. 

The event is aimed at the forestry industry, furniture and wood products manufacturers, designers, architects, and in general to all players involved in this economic sector; who will enjoy an ideal setting, with an approximate area of 16,000 m²- for trade and technology transfer, promotion and knowledge sharing. As well as the extensive industry show case, a series of academic conferences will be held in parallel.

In the machine technology segment visitors will be able to observe the latest from the top global plant and equipment suppliers: Homag, Biesse and SCM that together supply 50% of the global woodworking machinery market. Likewise, other important suppliers of machinery and equipment will be present: Felder, Holzher, Vitap, Striebig, Putsch Meniconi, Cehisa, Barberan and Altendorf among others. In the important hardware segment the main global suppliers will also be present: Blum, Hafele, Hettich, Grass, Titus, Salice, Indaux and Samet, giving visitors an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments from these leading suppliers. Likewise, major national and international suppliers of MDP and MDF will be present to discuss with visitors the current trends in decorative laminates and their particular proposals for the market. Among them Arauco, Masisa, Novopan, Primadera, Pizano, Tablemac, Finsa, Egger and Kaindl

The exhibition will also feature a Special Forestry Zone, aimed at reforestation and companies related to this industry, there specialized exhibitors will showcase the latest products and technologies in the fields of forestry machinery and silviculture.
