PANAMA - From November 24 to 26, 20 companies in the furniture industry participated in a promotion action of Brazilian furniture in Central America and the Caribbean.
The Seller Project, held in Panama City, was sponsored by the Brazilian Association of the Furniture Industry - Abimóvel, in partnership with Apex-Brazil through the Brazilian Furniture Project. The program included technical visits, seminars and business roundtables.
Around 40 international buyers from Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua participated in business rounds. In immediate business, USD 223.000 was generated and for the next twelve months compromises for another USD 2.820.000 were reached. Based on these results, the amount of the business rounds totaled USD 3.043.000.
The 20 Brazilian companies participating were: Artefama, Craftsman, A Lot Of, BRV, Bertolini, Butzke, Carraro, Caemmun, Flexform, HR Móveis, Brazil Linea, Motiva, Multimóveis, Phorman, Politorno, Robel, Santos Andirá, Somopar, Tora Brazil and Vamol.
