USA (WWN).- North American composite panel shipments in February 2011 were 424 million square feet (MMSF) compared to 446 MMSF (3/4-inch basis) for the same month last year,

a 5.2% decrease, according to the Composite Panel Association. Particleboard shipments were 245 MMSF (3/4-inch basis), down 7.9%; MDF shipments were 147 MMSF (3/4-inch basis) down 2.1%; and hardboard shipments were 187 MMSF (1/8-inch basis), up 1.1%.
